Dark mode stops hiding your date and time pickers

You can now see the calendar and clock controls when you pick a time in dark mode, instead of hunting for a black icon on a black field.

What changed

  • Controls the browser draws itself, including date and time fields, drop-down lists and scrollbars, now follow your theme.
  • The month grid no longer shows a pale grey line across dark rows.

How to use it

Switch to dark mode with the moon button at the top of the page (on a phone it sits in your profile menu), then open the calendar and schedule or reschedule a post. The small calendar and clock icons inside date and time fields are now drawn for a dark page, so they stand out rather than vanish into the field. Drop-down lists and scrollbars match too, everywhere one of those fields appears, from scheduling to settings. The month view keeps its own faint grid line instead of the pale grey one that cut across the dark layout. Light mode looks exactly as it did.
