Sign in with an emailed code (no CAPTCHA) or with Apple

You log in and sign up with a one-time code emailed to you instead of solving a CAPTCHA, sign in with your Apple ID on Apple devices, and change your email or reset your password yourself.

What changed

  • CAPTCHA removed entirely and replaced with emailed one-time codes on both login and signup.
  • Sign in with Apple, side by side with Google on Apple devices, natively in the mobile apps and on the web.
  • A three-step Change Email flow in Settings that also syncs the new address to billing, plus password setup and reset.

How to use it

On the sign-in page, enter your email and password. A six-digit code then arrives by email; type it in to finish. The Apple button sits beside Google, and only on iPhone, iPad and Mac.

To move your account to a new address, open Settings and find the Sign-in & email card. Press Change, enter the new email twice with your current password, then confirm with the code sent to the new address.

Who gets it

Everyone. Emailed sign-in codes, Apple sign-in, and changing your email or password yourself work the same on every plan.
