Photos, GIFs and videos now go out with your cross-posts to X
You can cross-post to X with images, a GIF or a video attached and the post goes out with its media, where before a cross-post with media failed.
What changed
- Images, GIFs and videos are sent to X the way X now expects them
- Videos for X can be up to 1 GB and 20 minutes long, up from 512 MB and 2 minutes 20 seconds
- A video is attached only once X has finished processing it
How to use it
Write your post, attach your images or video, pick X as a destination and publish or schedule as usual. Your media is now uploaded to X in the form X accepts, so the cross-post goes out with it. Videos up to 1 GB and 20 minutes now pass the X check in the composer. Cross-posts that are already scheduled use the new upload automatically. A cross-post that failed earlier because of its media can be scheduled again.

X cross-posting is a beta on Founder ($99 a month) and Operator ($199 a month).
