SchedulingNovember 2026
A post due while Threads is throttling you waits instead of failing
Your scheduled post now goes out as soon as Threads lets us through again, rather than failing on its first attempt and leaving you to resend it.
What changed
- A post caught by a Threads limit is held and retried for up to 24 hours past its time
- Analytics, your inbox and the publish indicator say a sync or post is paused and when it resumes
- A reconnect refused for the same reason tells you to wait a few hours and try once
How to use it
Nothing to turn on. When Threads decides we are calling your profile too often, it refuses everything for a while. Publishing now gets priority, and a post caught in that window is held and re-armed rather than failed, for up to a day past its due time. Background syncing stands down for the same account so it stops spending what little room is left, and the screens say so with the time it will try again. Reconnecting during a limit used to show a general connection error; it now tells you plainly to wait a few hours and try once more.
Who gets it
Every plan.
