Video posting is back, and warns you before a platform would reject it
You can attach a video up to 1 GB and Threadify blocks Publish with a per-platform reason instead of letting a cross-post die silently.
What changed
- Web video upload works again: the compressor can no longer delete your file, and the storage ceiling went from 50 MB to 1 GB with real upload progress.
- Per-platform limits are enforced in the composer and again server-side: Threads 1 GB / 300s, X 512 MB / 140s.
How to use it
Attach video with the Add media button in the composer. MP4 and MOV are accepted, and Publish stays off while the upload runs.
Video goes on the first post only. Add it to a later post in a thread and Threadify tells you Threads has no video replies yet.
If a file breaks a limit for a platform you have selected, that platform's icon turns amber and the reason appears under the icon row. Publish stays off until you swap the file.
Who gets it
Video to Threads on every paid plan. Cross-posting to X needs Founder or Operator.
