In this post, you'll learn:

  • The exact browser workflow to prevent account conflicts.

  • How to switch profiles without getting stuck in a login loop.

  • Why your browser keeps trying to connect the wrong account.

The Short Answer

To connect a second account to your Threadify workspace, you must manually reset your browser's active session first. Open Threads.net in the same browser you are using for Threadify, log out of your current profile, and log in to the specific account you want to connect. Once logged in, return to Threadify and click "Connect." This ensures the authorization window detects the correct profile instead of defaulting to your previous session.

Quick Steps: The "Logout-First" Method

If you are trying to add "Account B" but Threadify keeps auto-connecting "Account A," follow this exact sequence:

  1. Open a new tab in your browser and go to threads.net.

  2. Log out of the account currently signed in (Account A).

  3. Log in to the new account you want to connect (Account B).

  4. Keep that tab open.

  5. Return to Threadify in your original tab.

  6. Navigate to your account settings or the "Connect Account" button.

  7. Click Connect.

  8. The authorization pop-up will now see "Account B" and ask for permission.

  • Confirm the connection.

  • Why does this happen? (The Browser Conflict)

Threadify is your Threads creator workspace, designed to streamline how you draft, schedule, and convert. To do that securely, we use the active session in your browser to verify who you are.

We do not store your password. We simply ask your browser, "Who is currently logged into Threads?"

If you are logged into your personal account on Chrome, Safari, or Arc, and you try to connect your business account to Threadify, your browser will helpfully "remember" you are the personal account. It skips the login screen and hands Threadify the wrong keys.

You have to force the browser to switch identities before you ask Threadify to connect.

Setting Up Your Workspace for the New Account

Once you have successfully connected the second account, don't just leave it empty. A workspace isn't useful if it's not set up to sound like you.

    1. Connect the right Knowledge Base

Each account likely has a different voice. If "Account A" is your personal brand and "Account B" is a corporate page, you don't want them sharing the same brain.

    • Go to the Knowledge Base section.

    • Upload docs or notes specific to this new account.

    • This ensures that when you "Ask Threadify..." for ideas, the drafts won't sound generic.

    2. Configure Auto Plug & Auto Repost

These settings are powerful, but they need to be tuned to the specific audience of the new account.

    • Auto Plug: Set up a distinct offer in CTA Studio. If Account A sells a course and Account B sells a service, make sure the delayed CTA auto-reply matches the offer.

    • Auto Repost: Check your global settings. You might want your personal account to repost often, but your brand account to be more conservative. You can set this globally or per post.

    3. Check the Threadify Score

Before you post your first thread on the new account, run it through the score check. Different audiences react to different hooks. Use the Threadify Score to ensure your post is a 90/100 before it hits the feed.

Frequently Asked Questions about Multiple Accounts

Can I manage personal and business accounts in one workspace?

Yes. Threadify is built to stop you from juggling 5 different apps. Once connected, you can switch between accounts to manage drafts and scheduling without logging in and out constantly.

Does connecting a second account cost extra?

Access to features like the Knowledge Base, Auto Plug, and unlimited scheduling depends on your plan tier (Starter, Creator, or Founder). Check your plan limits to see how many scheduled posts or AI drafts you have available across your workspace.

Will my "Thriends Network" merge between accounts?

No. Your Thriends Network view shows you who is engaging with that specific account. This is crucial for keeping your community management clean—your personal friends shouldn't be mixed up with your business leads.

What if I accidentally connected the wrong account?

No stress. Go to your settings in Threadify, disconnect the wrong account, and then follow the "Logout-First" method above to connect the right one.

Does "Auto Repost" cross-post between accounts?

No. Auto Repost keeps hits in rotation for the same account. It reposts a post or thread to the timeline of the account that originally posted it. It does not retweet Account A from Account B.
